Branch Meetings

The Beverley Branch meet on the 2nd Monday of each month, at 7.30pm, in The Beverley Arms Hotel, 25 North Bar Within, Beverley, HU17 8DD.

Branch Events

 REMEMBRANCE DAY DETAILS - BEVERLEY 2012

There will be a Service at Beverley Minster followed by a Memorial Service and Laying of Wreaths in the Memorial Gardens, Hengate, Beverley on Sunday, 11th November 2012

PARADE TO BEVERLEY MINSTER

The Parade will assemble under the guidance of representatives from the Defence School of Transport.  Anyone wishing to take part should assemble for instructions in the School Lane Car Park, at the rear of Beverley Fire Station, by no later than 10.15 a.m.

The Parade will leave for Beverley Minster at 10.30 a.m. precisely and will proceed along New Walkergate, Railway Street, Eastgate and into Minster Yard North.  Parade members will then enter The Minster by the Highgate Door.

Anyone not involved with the above parade should proceed directly to The Minster, entering by the Highgate Door and take their seats as indicated by the Churchwardens.  Seats are reserved for the Civic Dignitaries and Parade members only.

Guests are asked to be seated no later than 10.30 a.m.

THE SERVICE

The Service will commence at 10.50 a.m. and, at the conclusion of the Service, the Congregation should remain standing and wait until the Clergy, Civic Dignitaries and Parade members have left The Minster.

PARADE TO THE MEMORIAL GARDENS

The Parade will reassemble in Minster Yard North and proceed along Eastgate, Wednesday Market, Lord Roberts Road, Cross Street, Toll Gavel, Saturday Market, to the Memorial Gardens in Hengate.

The Salute will be taken at the Market Cross in Saturday Market, Beverley.

Members of the public wishing to take part in the Memorial Service and Laying of Wreaths should assemble in the Memorial Gardens in Hengate.

MEMORIAL SERVICE AND LAYING OF WREATHS

On entering the Memorial Gardens, Civic Dignitaries, parade members and those wishing to lay a wreath, will be directed into position by representatives of The Royal British Legion.
