This book is a collection of real stories from people a whole wealth of people, including Terry Waite CBE and Peter Francis, Head of External Communication for the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It isn't just the about the Forces but also the families and their memories, including their feelings as children during the many wars. Some warm your heart, others break your heart but there are a few stories that do make you laugh. Can't say I have ever read a book so enjoyable and moving. The book is all around Remembrance, the Legion and what the  poppy means to the story tellers and every penny raised is going to the Poppy Appeal.
