DROP IN ADVICE CENTRE

AVAILABLE TO ALL SERVING AND

EX-ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL

AND/OR THEIR FAMILIES

The Veterans Outreach Support provides a friendly and confidential service to all serving and ex-serving Armed Forces personnel ranging from War Pensions and Compensation, Welfare Advice, Financial Support, Employment and Benefits Advice and Support for Combat Stress.

Appointments are not necessary, simply "Drop In" between 14:00 and 19:00 for a confidential consultation with one of our advisors or you can just come for a coffee and a chat.

As part of the service we can also offer FREE computer lessons on all Microsoft and Windows programs

The Centre gives the opportunity for ALL Serving & Ex-Service personnel and/or their Families to seek advice and assistance from any of the Ex-Service and Civilian Agencies/Charities available on the day.

In July 2008, Dr Morgan O'Connell (recently Chief Consultant Psychiatrist to Combat Stress) and John "Joe" Erskine (SSAFA - Forces Help "Portsmouth"), together with David Watts,

(Ex General Manager of The Royal Maritime Club "Portsmouth"), put together a "Veterans Outreach Support" programme for ALL Serving & Ex-Service personnel and/or their Families. The team in Kent have now extended the "Veterans Outreach Support Centre" to the whole of the Kent area
