• Most Common
Grants include: Mobility scooters & electric wheelchairs,
Stairlifts & Bathroom adaptations, Riser/recliner chairs,
Deposit and rent advance, Removal expenses, Household goods and
furniture, and priority debts - council tax and rent
arrears.
• We continue to make a
difference to people's lives.
One of our most recent cases has been to provide
assistance to a young mother with 3 small children.
She is estranged from her husband (a serving soldier),
and we were notified of her plight through the Women's Refuge that
she had been moved to for her and her children's safety.
The council found her accommodation but she had
nothing to move in with so we provided funds for clothes, toys,
carpets and furniture.
