Armed Forces Day at Boothstown RBL Club

On 26th June 2010 the Boothstown R.B.L. Club held a fun day for the community and beyond.

As well as the locals attending the day was made extra special with the attendance of two Chelsea Pensioners Mr. Alf Hey and Mr. Dennis Shiels from the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

Opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of Salford the day was a tremendous success with the Ellenbrook and Boothstown Brass band played throughout the day and the local scouts and guides looked after the BBQ fun rides were supplied for the kids and there was even a cabaret at the evening based on the Full Monty which even featured the Club Steward Mr. Ken Bailey.
