Legion's branches and clubs throughout the Greater Manchester area.

adults, not just members or ex-members of the forces and we

Greater Manchester County Conference 2012
The County Conference took place on
Saturday 21st January 2012 at Boothstown RBL Club and was attended
by a large represenatative of branches within the county plus
guests. The guest speaker was Sue Freeth Head of Welfare and
her speech was well received. The new County Standard Bearer
Mr John Thornhill Ashton-under-Lyne Branch and County Youth
Standard Bearer Jessica Ward recieved their respective standards
from the County Chairman.

To celebrate 90 years since the
founding of the Royal British Legion, we would like to invite you
to our open day, where there will be a variety of stalls and
display's, along with people to speak too, on the many services
that are available to support Manchester's ex-service
personnel!
All are welcome to attend and other services present on the day
will include Combat Stress, St Dunstan's & the National Gulf
War Veteran's and Families Association (others to be
confirmed!).
