County Standard Competition
Birmingham County Held there Annual County Standard Competition
on Saturday 8th October at the Kingstanding & North Birmingham
Branch.
There were six Standard Bearers in attendance including Debbie
Gooding, representing the Womens Section and, for the first time in
many years, a youth member, affiliated to the Perry Common R.B.L.
Branch participated in the competition.
The competition began with the Parade of Standards, with
the County Chairman reciting the Exhortation, the competition then
started in earnest
Competition was fierce, with the first and sixth place positions
seperated by only 22 points
The surprise of the competition came from Ryan, whom not only a
youth member, but in his first competition, came a close second to
the overall winner. WELL DONE RYAN!!!
