Birmingham County Welfare Page

Birmingham has two dedidated County Welfare officers,working full time in the County Office, and will be only too happy to to deal with any enquiry you may have.

Welfare latest

In the last year from October 2009-October 2010. The County Welfare team received 762 requests for help, spending a total of £250,098.88 of which £125,505.35 of RBL Welfare funds was used. The Welfare team also helped clients claim £390,391 in unclaimed benefits,and write-off £122,497 of debt.

The County Welfare team have a dedicated group of caseworkers covering the whole of Birmingham, all of which are volunteers, who go to visit the client and complete an assistance form. If you require help or advice please call and speak to our County Welfare team on: 0121 456 9491
