Other Ways to Give Money

Poppy fieldThere are many other ways of supporting the Legion.  Many supporters choose to remember us in their will - this type of support makes up a large and vital part of our funding.  You can also donate shares to the Legion, which is not only beneficial for us, but has significant tax savings.  For more information about each, please click on the links.

 Share Giving

The giving of shares to The Royal British Legion not only helps the serving and ex-Service men and women of this country - it can also offer significant tax advantages.  The shares you give will be exempt from any capital gains tax, and the donor may claim tax relief for the value of the shares and any associated costs of transfer, such as broker's fees.
