Handy Van Fitters - 3 positions

Salary: £15,000 per annum
Based in either Leicestershire & Rutland, Northamptonshire or Birmingham

Do you have excellent DIY skills, an awareness of home safety and security and a genuine desire to improve and maintain the quality of life for vulnerable people? We are seeking an exceptional individual to deliver a brand new service designed to ensure that older and disabled members of the ex-service community can remain safely in their own homes for as long as they wish by undertaking small repairs and installing aids, adaptations and home security devices.

The Fitter will be responsible for carrying out their own surveys of the property, assessing the clients’ needs and providing guidance and information about other services in the local area, therefore, a genuine interest in and empathy with the needs of this client group is essential. A good general standard of education is required, along with a neat and tidy appearance and well developed interpersonal skills.
