Benefits and Money Advisor

Salary £21,327 per annum
Based in Fakenham, Norfolk

The Royal British Legion’s Benefits and Money Advice Service is a new initiative designed to give practical money and benefits advice to beneficiaries who are experiencing financial difficulties.

We are looking for an experienced Benefits and Money Adviser who is a motivated self-starter, able to help embed this new service into our existing Pensions and Benefits team. As part of this team, you will need to have a thorough working knowledge of money advice and welfare benefits, gained as part of the Citizens Advice Bureau or a similar organisation, be able to work without supervision and be able to offer written and oral advice to our beneficiaries and creditors.

Although reporting to our Pensions and Disability Department in Head Office, you will be based at our Fakenham office and be expected to travel regularly within Norfolk, to offer face-to-face support as necessary to our client group and also travel to London for training and meetings.
