Whether it was taking on the hills or a well-earned rest, every rider went the distance and made it to the final stop: the Arc de Triomphe.
On 3 September 2015, our Pedal to Paris riders set off on their epic journey from London. Covering 460km, they passed through First and Second World War battlefields in northern France, holding Remembrance services at local war memorials along the route.
After four days of cycling, the jubilant riders arrived in the French capital in style on Sunday 6 September as Paris Police shut the roads around the magnificent landmark to make way for them - an honour received by only one other cycling event, the Tour de France.
All participating riders and crew then took part in a moving ceremony of Remembrance at Tomb of the Unknown Soldier under the Arc.
