Dennis Ehrlich is looking for his father
Last seen: RAF Station, Gatow Berlin, Germany 1950
I'm looking for my biological father. I was born in Berlin, Germany in 1950. All I know for sure is that my father was a British soldier stationed in Berlin. After I was born, he was shipped back to England. I was told, back then, when a English soldier got a German girl pregnant, they would ship them back home to England. My aunt told me that his name was Les Dennis Morris or Morrison. With all the new technology today, I would think that it would be possible to look for a roster with the names of the soldiers that were stationed in Gatow Berlin, say between 1948 and 1950. I’ve been searching for my father for 20+ years now. I wish I had his service number, but I don’t. Unfortunately my mother passed three years ago and would never reveal it to me. With this type of information, the search could be greatly reduced. I don't even know if he retired from the military, or just full filled his military obligation. Who knows, I might have half brothers or sisters in England.
