Barry Brett -1 is looking for Pte. C. Hayes 6343678

Last seen: Palestine 21st. April 1938

My father William Brett was in the Royal West Kents from 1935 to 1946. He served in India, Palestine, Malta and after being wounded in the Dodeconese was medivaced to UK and finished his time as an instructor at Arborfield. Going through his army photos I have come across a photo of his mate's headstone in Palestine. He was Pte C Hayes 6343678, killed in action in 1938 at Umm Al Fahm. I remember my father had a tattoo of this headstone on his arm so they must have been good mates, but like a lot of his generation would not talk about it. I am trying to track down any decendants of Pte Hayes so I can give them the photo, if they want it.
