Birmingham Poppy Day
Join us in Birmingham to raise money for the Armed Forces community during this year's Poppy Appeal
Volunteers, members of the Armed Forces, organisations from across the Midlands, Birmingham businesses and the Lord Mayor of Birmingham will be supporting the Poppy Day which is the largest one-day street collection in the Midlands.
Main collection areas include: New Street Station, Snow Hill Station, Bullring, Brindleyplace, Victoria Square and Colmore Row. Office raids in partnership with local businesses will also be taking place throughout the day. Four military bands will be conducting a musical programme across the city and visiting Birmingham Airport and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. In addition, musical group the D-Day Darlings will also be performing on the city’s Metro and in Victoria Square.

Supporting the Poppy Appeal
The money raised through the Poppy Appeal goes directly to The Royal British Legion’s work providing through life support to anyone who is currently serving in the British Armed Forces, who has previously served, and their families.
