Can we help?

Royal British Legion beneficiary

Kirianne CurleyKirianne Curley's husband, Royal Marine Corporal Stephen Curley of 40 Commando, was killed in an IED explosion whilst on foot patrol in Afghanistan in May 2010. He was just 26 years old. At the time of his death, the couple's son, William, was just a few weeks old.

Mrs Curley is using the Legion's Independent Inquest Advice service to help her through the inquest into her husband's death.

"The military inquest process is complicated and stressful, and the Legion has been such a tremendous help and support at one of the hardest times of my life."
