Poppy Breaks - Family Holidays
Seven days and seven nights of relaxation and entertainment !
The Royal British Legion – working with Haven Holidays – are providing families from the serving and ex-Service community, the opportunity to have a week long holiday away from the stresses and strains of everyday life.
Haven offers the perfect base for your family holiday where you can enjoy all the facilities, activities and entertainment on the Park. Unwind and take life as it comes, perhaps venturing out and about to explore the many attractions of the local area. Above all you'll find time to be together.
The Legion is offering dates at ten of the Haven sites.

There are a wide variety of activities including (may vary from site to site):
- Swimming pools
- Mini tennis
- Mini fencing
- Mini archery
- 5-a-side football
- Shoot the Hoop
- Family rounders
- It's a Knockout
- Evening entertainment
Each package includes seven night's accommodation in a mobile home/apartment with three meals a day, free activities and entertainment and travel to and from the centre.
How to apply
Are you eligible?
If you are part of the currently serving or ex-Service community who are eligible for Legion help and if you answer YES to just one of the questions below, then you and your family qualify for a Family Holiday Break.
- Are you a one parent household because of bereavement or break up of the family?
- Is one parent currently serving on overseas operations?
- Is one parent caring for a disabled partner?
- Have you not had a holiday away from home in 3 years?
- Do you support your household with less than £25000 gross annual income per year?
