CarephoneCare phones are personal alarms worn on your wrist or around your neck which when activated alert a 24 hour response centre. The Legion installs care phones free of charge to Forces and ex-Forces personnel who feel vulnerable, providing that extra level of security.

Admiral nurses

Admiral Nurse Ben Upton with Mrs GordonThe Legion provides a community dementia nurse service through Admiral Nurses to support the carers of those living with dementia from within the Armed Forces community.

The nurses provide information, support and practical help to relieve issues commonly experienced by carers such as stress and depression to enable people to better support their loved ones living with the condition. Find out more >>>
