Welcome to the Royal Wootton Bassett Branch - No. 2619

The Royal British Legion is the UK's leading Armed Forces charity and one of its largest membership organisations. Members get together through the network of branches and clubs all over the country and overseas to participate in social, fundraising and welfare activities.

Founded in 1921 The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national Custodian of Remembrance and safeguards the Military Covenant between the nation and its Armed Forces both past and present and it is also well known for Remembrance time aand the Poppy Appeal.

It is not just about those who fought in the two World Wars of the last century, but also about those involved in the many conflicts since 1945 and those still fighting for the freedom we enjoy today.  Many have suffered over the years and many are still suffering and we are here for them and their families and we aim is to help where-ever we can.
