The Poppy Appeal in Shipston on Stour - 2011

Once again the good people of Shipston and the surrounding villages have shown their generosity and support for our former and serving members of the Armed Forces.

 This year's total has again reached record heights, the final sum being:

 £12,625

an increase of £1955 on the 2010 total.

We, therefore, send a huge, huge "Thank You" to the people of Shipston, Brailes,
Sutton-under-Brailes, Winderton, Cherington, Stourton, Burmington, Tidmington, Willington, Barcheston and Stretton-on-Fosse for being so generous. 

 Also a massive "Thank You" goes to our team of collectors without whom
this would not be possible.

Anyone wishing to spare an hour or two as a collector in this years' Poppy Appeal will be warmly welcomed for supporting this popular and vital cause whilst our Servicemen and Women continue to be engaged in operations overseas.
