Join The Legion
Why you should
join?
Your support is vital to the care
of the ex-Service community.
The Legion can help serving or
ex-members of the British Armed Forces, or their dependants, with
war pensions or compensation claims, resettlement and training.
Who can
join?
Anyone can join who supports the
objectives of The Legion and of course if you have served it
provides a great way of meeting others who have also
served.
Anyone who has served or is serving
in the British Armed Forces (including the Volunteer Reserves), is
18 years or older and has received seven day's pay can apply for
membership.
How much does it cost to
join?
The annual subscription fee is £12.
All cheques should be made payable to 'The Royal British
Legion'.
If you have a UK Bank or Building
Society account you can pay by direct debit. This method of payment
is preferable and has the following advantages:
-
your membership card will be sent
to your home address and your membership will not lapse through
oversight;
-
payment to the Branch is prompt
and we do not need to collect your subscription and send your new
membership card to you each year.
How do I join?
To apply for membership of the
Royal British Legion, please contact Mike Ashley our Membership
Secretary or any other member of the Committee.
Alternatively, you may join on
line by clicking here and
selecting Warwickshire from the County drop-down menu.
Following successful application you will then have the opportunity
of tranferring to the Shipston Branch.
