This website is maintained by the Branch at Romford and we want
to hear from you! Do you have any questions? Want to
make a comment? Your feedback would be valued!
If you have any queries, comments or complaints relating to the
Club, please email clubenquiries@romfordrbl.org.uk (there
is a separate email for the branch on the Branch
Information page)
The Club (which we all enjoy!) is operated by the Club
Committee, separate from the Branch.
Members and their Guests enjoy entertainment every Friday,
Saturday and Monday evening. See the
details below!
Apart from being a well presented and friendly environment in
which to meet other Legion Members, the Club is home to a number of
interesting organisations.
Coming to see us? This link should help you find us and
plan your journey. We look forward to seeing you!

Part of the Branch is the Women's Section which
meets regularly and raises money for the Poppy Appeal. This
relaxed gathering of like-minded ladies can always find room for
new Members!
At Romford, we are fortunate indeed to have The Royal
British Legion Band and Corps of Drums. This fine
organisation nurtures musical talent and encourages youngsters to
achieve great things.
A visit to their website www.royalbritishlegionbandromford.co.uk
really is truly worthwhile but of course, nowhere near as good as
hearing the Band play!
Many Legion Members in Romford have a naval background and so
the Royal Naval Association has a very strong
presence here. There are good-natured meetings on the first and
third Thursday of each month. Despite the banter, the RNA
never loses sight of the importance of Remembrance and if it were
not for the RNA, the annual Poppy Appeal at Romford would be sorely
depleted.
The Royal Naval Association at Romford continues to enjoy a
strong Membership and recruits new people all the time. Salty
old seadogs who have seen active service are of course most welcome
however, the Association does also accept Landlubbers that have
never been afloat, provided they have the right mindset and can
enjoy good-natured, naval-focussed fun.
The big activity for the Association is the annual Royal British
Legion Poppy Appeal.
Shipmates play a significant part in the success of the Appeal
each year; Romford RNA is rightly proud of its wholehearted support
of this noble cause.
If you feel you would like to be "piped aboard" then please do
feel free to call the Secretary, Derek Brown for an informal chat
on 01708 767978 or send an email to royalnavalassociation@romfordrbl.org.uk
There are two Freemasons' Lodges that meet at
Romford - Seven Kings Lodge and Aldborough Lodge. Please feel
free to visit Seven Kings' own website on www.7kings.co.uk. The
contact for Aldborough Lodge is Ted Bullimore on 01708 456 638
or 07880 853 998.
We also have two Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes'
Lodges (although they tend to be known as "Buffs"). Albert
Gregory on 020 8220 4738 will happily give you details regarding
The Ascension of Concorde Lodge or to find out about The Bull
Lodge, please leave a note with the Doorman for the Lodge
Secretary.
Entertainment
We have LIVE entertainment EVERY FRIDAY, SATURDAY and
MONDAY!!
So, come and join the fun!
