Welfare

The principal concern of the Rheindahlen Branch is the welfare needs of the British ex-Service personnel and their dependants in our area of responsibility, which because we are the most southerly British Legion Branch in Germany stretches down to the Austrian and Swiss Border.

We can help with advice on war pensions or compensation claims, German and UK Pensions, resettlement, training and all other welfare matters. Many of our members are ex-members of the British Forces who have retired and settled locally so we have a wealth of experience on living and working in Germany.

One of the Branch Members is a Funeral Director who provides a discreet and efficient service and can also arrange cremations in Holland.
