Royal British Legion Colditz Coach Trip confirmed for the 9th June 2012.

The coach will leave Bergen Hohne at approx 06:30 and return at approx 21:00. The trip will cost €45,00 and a three course lunch is also available for an extra €15,00. Further details will be published on the RBL Bergen Hohne facebook page.

An advance deposit of €25,00 (non-refundable) is required if you wish to attend the trip. Last bookings 26th may 2012.

For all those bikers out there.....a new facebook group called JHQ BIKERS has been created for all new bikers in Rhine Garrison to advertise ride outs and other biker social events.

Freizeitanlage Stadtwald.  A great place to take the children. On the way to Rheydt- Mönchengladbach.  Trampolines, play parks, bumper boats, go-karts and lots more.   www.freizeitanlage-minigolf.de.

Thorn.  Thorn is a small village southwest of Roermond (also known as the White Village). Built around a 10th century abbey, cobbled streets, art and craft shops and cafes. The Pancake Bakery in Thorn is a popular place to eat. A great place for the children. www.thorn.nl.

Chit - Chat English Learning Centre and Café Erklenzer Strasse 39, Wassenberg.  www.chitchatcenter.de.  An English Language Centre and Café has opened in Wassenberg. Chit Chat is an English immersion center where members engage in activities aimed to increase their language proficiency.  Chit Chat offers a variety of activities for youths Mon-Fri and offer family special events every Saturday.  The Café offers an array of freshly
international baked goods and serves lunch daily.  The Café is open Mon-Fri from 07.30-18.00 hrs, Saturday 11.00-20.00 hrs.
