Volunteers

A message from the Branch Secretary:

Dear Members,

We are looking for volunteers to help us spread the good word and works of The Royal British Legion on two important dates in our calendar, namely:

Veteran's Day on the 2nd July which will be held at JHQ, Rhine Garrison. Here we will have a stand and lots of information on the RBL.

Krefeld Show on 10th and 11th September 2011.  Again, we will have a stand.

If any of you would like to assist us, even for an hour or so, your help would be greatly appreciated. We had a very positive response from our attendance at the Highland Games in Xanten last Sunday, so clearly it is advantageous for us to be present at these
events.

Please contact either Steve Reid or myself if you would like to assist us. We certainly would welcome your company and help.

SUMMER BBQ 10 JULY

In addition, may I take this opportunity to remind you that the deadline for tickets of 1st July 2011 is nearly upon us.

You can purchase your tickets from the bar at the Lion's Head. Cost is €10.00 per person, with a reduction for children.
