Welfare

The Nantwich & District branch has a very active and energetic welfare team made up of twelve led by our branch president Alex Chadwick.

The team has four caseworkers who have all undergone caseworker training and enhanced CRB checks and attend annual updating courses.

The caseworkers handle 2 - 3 cases per month and in each case they would

  • Visit the clients home.
  • Establish and verify eligibility for support.
  • Identify the potential welfare needs of the client and make recommendations for support.
  • Produce a detailed report supporting the recommentdations.
  • Complete all relevant forms and paperwork.
  • Submit all forms and paperwork to RBL County Office.
