Remembrance 2009
The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.
As well as attending Remembrance Sunday at the British Embassy in Bangkok every year we also attend the ANZAC Day service every April held in Kanchananburi (home of the River Kwai) and the Malay Emergency Service held in Ipoh Malaysia every June.
In 2010 we hope to hold our first service in Chonburi on Thursday 11 November, we also at some stage would like to hold a service within Burma.
