It started as always at the bar "how can we improve the results of last years Poppy Appeal", being surrounded by golf courses we soon came up with the answer. We planned on a small local event with a few local sponsors, what we got were teams from all over Thailand and sponsors that included Boots and Tesco Lotus along with local sponsors MGMB, The Sutlet Group, MatVic Butchers, The PIGS, and Tropical Bert's. Sponsorship in the way of an outstanding buffet came from Kim of Jameson's. The day went well, with a little cheating here and there and on returnin to Jameson's there was of course the buffet followed by prize giving, a raffle and finishing with an auction. In total we hope to have raised in the region of 200,000 Baht. It was a fantastic day with a more than fantastic result, our thanks to those involved both on the day and in the planning Derek, Max, Dot, Tom, Reg, Graham, Kim and George.
