Photographs taken during the 9th/12th Royal Lancers homecoming parade in Derby on 26 November 2011.
The 9th/12th Royal Lancers - Derbyshire's cavalry regiment - had been serving in Helmand Province, Afghanistan for the previous six months.
The soldiers from the regiment were accompanied by The Light Cavalry Band.
