The Poppy Appeal in Birkenhead

Birkenhead Branch's Poppy Appeal total up to the end of January is over £53,437.57. The percentage rise is 28%

So well done everybody, and a big Thank You to all the people of Birkenhead and West Kirby and especially to all those who helped distributing the rounds and collecting on those cold, windy and wet days. Of course we cannot forget all who have been and continue to be so generous.

We, as a Branch cannot fail to mention and thank 4JAS World War 2 Re-enactment & Living History Association,( www.4jas.org.uk) some members of which have travelled from all four corners of the UK to help us raise money as one Unit. While their aim is to have fun in their hobby, we should point out that since their beginnings in 1983 the group have raised to date, almost £45,000 on behalf of the Poppy Appeal and it's benevolent work.
