Remembrance

The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

This year we have co-operated once again with The Towers School and are running another competition for the pupils about 'Remembrance'.  Prizes will be awarded to the pupils who deliver the best presentation and we are looking forward to participating with the school and staff on this project, which is designed to raise the level of public awareness of 'Remembrance' and the work of The Legion.
