Legion in Wales
Welcome to The Royal British Legion in Wales.
We carry out the Legion's work across Wales, providing practical care, advice and support to serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans of all ages and their families from offices in Cardiff and Wrexham. Read more about the Legion in Wales here.

Comradeship is one of our core activities and membership of the Legion is available to all adults, not just members or ex-members of the Armed Forces and we would love to welcome new members. Click here to find out more about our branches, their activities and how to join.
In addition to our health and welfare work, the Legion is also the custodian of our national Remembrance for all Service personnel who have died or suffered through conflict. Each year, thanks to the generosity of the public, our Poppy Appeal raises millions of pounds to help fund our support to the Armed Forces, here in Wales and across the UK. And we produce a free Learning Pack for schools and young people to ensure the message of Remembrance reaches new generations. This pack is also available in Welsh.
Representation is another part of what we do. We engage regularly with Welsh Government, the National Assembly for Wales, Welsh Members of Parliament and Local Government in Wales to ensure policymakers are taking into account the views and needs of the Armed Forces community in Wales. To find out more visit our Campaigning in Wales page.
The role and organisation of the Legion has evolved over its 91 year history. Ahead of the centenary of the start of World War I in 2014, we have embarked on an exciting re-organisation in order to meet the rapidly changing needs of the people we support.
