Chelsea Flower Show

The Leeds City Council Chelsea Flower Show garden entry for 2008, sponsored by The Royal British Legion, has been awarded a Flora Silver Gilt award. More information is available in the press release.

The WW1 themed garden,"The Largest Room in the House", is being shown in the year of the 90th anniversary of the end of the First World War and is based upon the famous garden at Talbot House ('Toc H') in Poperinghe near Ypres, where British soldiers were able to rest between periods on the front line.
