Giants Theatre Company needs ex-Service help

Did you fight in Iraq or Afghanistan?
Were you an Army regular or a TA volunteer?
Do you have a story to tell about what happened when you got back home to the UK?
Or are you part of the family of one of these soldiers?
GIANTS THEATRE COMPANY NEEDS YOU for a really exciting new project!
We are writing a play about you, and also about the families you came back to, but we need your story and your voice to be genuinely truthful. If you are interested in working with us, in a small group of fellow ex-soldiers, looking at both the good and the bad sides of your experiences, then we're really keen to hear from you. Both male and female personnel are welcome by the way!
GIANTS is a new London based theatre company who create original plays inspired by the experiences of its collaborators and led by our Artistic Director who has personally trained many of the best actors in this country. This will be our second project. We plan to form two groups, one of ex-army personnel, and another of families, who will meet regularly from April 09 to workshop together and create the material for the new play, which we intend to put on in the Autumn. The where and the how of the project will depend of course on who wants to take part (though proximity to London and the Home counties would be best for us!). This will be a really exciting experience and give you the chance to make yourself heard.
