VAT waived on Military Wives single

The Legion is very pleased - and grateful -
that the Chancellor has waived VAT on the terrific Christmas single
by the Military Wives Choir and Gareth Malone "Wherever You
Are".
It's a wonderful gesture of solidarity with the public and the Armed Forces family which we are so proud to support. This gift of extra funds from the sales of their record will help us in our vital work supporting those in need in the Armed Forces family which sees us spend £1.7 million every week providing an extensive range of services for the veteran and currently serving communities.
Proceeds from the sale of the single are being split between The Royal British Legion and SSAFA Forces Help. More information about the single including how to buy it are available here.
