The Royal British Legion has launched the Great Poppy Quiz. Trivia fans can pit their wits against the clock to win prizes by taking part on a monthly, bi-annual or yearly basis with as little as £5 a month donation. Test your knowledge today by visiting the Great Poppy Quiz.
The Quiz has five categories including twentieth century conflicts, Armed Forces and the Great Pub Quiz with fantastic prizes. These include lunch with Amanda Prowse, the author of " Poppy Day" and, in January 2012, lunch with Matt Croucher GC, the author of " 90 years of Heroes"; limited edition jewellery; Marks and Spencer vouchers and much more.
All profits from the Quiz go towards supporting the Legion's involvement in Personnel Recovery Centres which assist wounded, injured and sick Service personnel to recover and either return to duty or move successfully into civilian life.
The Legion has pledged its biggest-ever single donation, £50m, to Defence Recovery Capability which is being used to fund the operating costs of four Personnel Recovery Centres in the UK and one in Germany. It will also be used to create and operate the Battle Back Centre.
