District Spain North's Poppy Appeal total announced

District Spain North's Poppy Appeal has raised an incredible 134,131.18 euros for the 2011 Poppy Appeal, which represents a 25% increase on last year's total. 

District Poppy Appeal Co-ordinator Tony Dengate (pictured) thanked local Legion branches, members and businesses for their invaluable help achieving the total.

The Chairman and committee of The Royal British Legion in Spain added their profound thanks to all the volunteers who gave up so much of their time to distribute poppy boxes, collect and count the donations and all those who gave so generously.
