Thiepval Memorial Service and Somme Ball

Sunday 1 July is the 96th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme and the 80th anniversary of the unveiling of the Thiepval Memorial.
A joint Royal British Legion and CWGC Service of Remembrance will be held at Thiepval at 10.40am.
The previous evening, Saturday 30 June, the Armed Forces Somme Dinner & Ball is at the Mecure Hotel in Arras. Tickets cost €50 and include pre-dinner drinks, 4 course dinner with wine and coffee. Dress is Gentleman: black tie / Mess Kit / Lounge suit; Ladies: cocktail or evening wear. Medals may be worn.
Dancing will be to Peter Day. Please join us at 7.30pm for 8.00pm.
