South Wales Charity Gig featuring Black Butterfly

With an all Welsh line-up, Black Butterfly will headline our charity concert supported by White Dice, Rory Bridgeman and Velvet Highway. Tickets £5.
All bands, the venue and sponsors of prizes for the draw, printing of the tickets have donated their time etc free of charge. The £5 door entry/ticket price and the £5 charged for a prize ticket book will all be donated to the Poppy Appeal. Black Butterfly
One band member recently saw a programme on BBC3 showing the effects that the recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan had on the Armed Forces and their families at home. As a result, Black Butterfly wrote a song dedicated to the heroes called "By the hand of a gun", and decided to do something to support The Royal British Legion, who are helping those heroes and their families.
Formed in 2009 from years of experience in other bands, Black Butterfly started off doing covers of classic/modern rock and are proving themselves to be the most lively and entertaining bands around Swansea and beyond. In only 5 months, this band are THE band to watch, their live shows are second to none, with a huge sound that will make you think the walls are coming down around you! Every venue played, has re-booked Black Butterfly to perform again. The band are now concentrating on writing original material and hopefully, their debut EP will be released soon.
The band consists of Dan Mason as Lead Vocalist, Scott Tancock on Lead Guitar/Backing vocals, Phil Hann on Drums/Backing vocals and Vaughan Hughes on Bass Guitar. They will headline the Charity gig and, along with their original material, they will play covers from bands such as Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard, The Foo Fighters, AC/DC and The Kings of Leon.
White Dice
Indie/Rock band White Dice released their first album "What we left behind" worldwide in 2008. The band has been on a non-stop round of gigging and recording, playing on bills with top selling acts from around the world and touring the UK.
White Dice's hard work and radio friendly tone seems to be spreading across the waters, as CDs have been sold as far as Australia and the US. White Dice are Lucas, Craig and Kriss and they will be performing original material on the night.
Rory Bridgeman
Rory is an amazing acoustic guitarist who has supported many bands including Black Butterfly. He performs solo, and with his band Kasino, and plays both covers and original material which can only be described as superb. Every tune is sung with emotion and precision that makes you listen intently. He is a regular around Swansea music venues. Rory will perform original material at the gig.
Velvet Highway
An Indie Rock Band from South Wales, they have already established themselves as one of the greatest unsigned bands of the city, pulling in many dedicated fans to every gig. Velvet Highway will be playing covers from such bands as The Who, The Jam, Ocean Colour Scene.
