Longest Ever Rugby Match - Guinness World Record

On Friday 2 April (Good Friday) and Saturday 3 April (Easter Saturday), Towcestrians Rugby Union Football Club are planning an event which combines a Rugby Match, a Beer Festival and a Music Festival, with the purpose to:

• Play the Longest Rugby Match ever played and ....
• Create a World Record for:
  "Most players in a rugby union exhibition match"
  validated by the Guiness World Records (this is a UNIQUE event as this is the first time a record has been attempted in this new category, created especially for this event)
• Generate funds for The Royal British Legion, Help for Heroes and the "Wooden Spoon" charities
• Raise funds for the Towcestrians Sports Club

There will also be a military vehicle display and Ghurka Rifles will be cooking meals.

Cost: Free but donations gratefully received and money raised is going to the Legion and other charities (see above).
