Karrimor Great Trail Challenge

17 June 2012

Trail running in the Lakes DistrictWe're proud to announce that Karrimor has chosen The Royal British Legion as their nominated charity for a brand new trail running event in the Lake District.

The Karrimor Great Trail Challenge will take place on Sunday 17 June 2012, featuring 10km, half marathon and marathon distances - all staged on the same day.

Set in one of the UK's most scenic locations, each distance will start and finish in Fitz Park, Keswick and take in fantastic views of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite from the path below Skiddaw.

Thousands of people will take part in three events across the day, from established trail runners to walkers and novices, all experiencing an exciting new challenge.

And if you're a member of the Armed Forces, why not enter the Team Forces Challenge - a great way to keep fit and support the Legion. After all, the Legion will be there to suppor you if you need it, now and for the rest of your life.
